The cutaway trainer demonstrates the internal operation of a GM 4L60E automatic transaxle and permits the student to visualize and safely operate the system. For training purposes the cutaway uses manually controlled air pressure to apply and release the clutches and bands. This allows the cutaway transaxle to be easily shifted through all speeds.
