Deval Abrasion Tester
The Devals Abrasion Testing Machine, is used to determine the aggregate abrasion value of coarse aggregates as described in BS: 812. The machine consists of two hollow cylinders, closed at one end and provided with tight fitting covers at the other end, mounted on a shaft at an angle of 30° to the axis of rotation. The shaft rotates at 30-33 r.p.m. through a reduction gearbox, coupled to a motor.
Supplied complete with a revolution counter but without abrasive charge.
Suitable for operation on a 415V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz A.C Supply
