Feasibility Study, Detailed System Design and Formulation of Detailed Project Report (DPR)Field study comprises of a detailed feasibility / technical survey of the areas to be electrified. The study includes detailed data collection, projection of load for next 10 years considering economic and demographic profiles, detailing of transmission line / sub transmission line routes and location of sub stations on basis of load factor. This survey is most efficiently carried out by use of geographical information systems (GIS) techniques using portable global position systems, Total Stations (GPS/TS). Use of such techniques gives excellent accuracy and the survey can be completed in a short time.
