The Power Meter is part of a series of units that enable experiments to be performed on flow processes with the aid of a computer. It is connected between a consumer and the mains supply. Because the output is determined by a real-time multiplication of current and voltage, the measured result is unrelated to the curve shape and provides accurate measured results, even in the case of phase control.
